Dr. Sunita Koul, MD, MPH
Dr. Sunita Koul is a board-certified internal medicine physician with a diverse and global medical background. She began her medical career in India, where she trained and practiced as an obstetrician-gynecologist for several years before moving to the United States. She went on to earn her Master of Public Health from Benedictine University in 2010, further strengthening her foundation in population health and preventive care.
Dr. Koul completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Des Moines Internal Medicine Residency Program in 2013. Following residency, she worked as a hospitalist at Mercy Medical Center, Aurora IL from 2013 to 2021, where she gained extensive experience managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
In 2021, Dr. Koul founded Naperville Family Clinic with a vision of delivering personalized, patient-centered care. She is committed to building long-term relationships with her patients and providing thoughtful, compassionate medical care tailored to each individual’s needs.”
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Koul enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and gardening.

Claudia Dogaru, FNP-BC, is a highly experienced board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of healthcare experience. At Naperville Family Clinic, she provides comprehensive, patient-centered primary care services, with a focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and overall wellness.
As a dedicated nurse practitioner, Claudia delivers evidence-based, holistic care, emphasizing the importance of listening to her patients and building strong, collaborative relationships. She works closely with each individual to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique health needs and long-term goals.
Her clinical interests include preventive health, chronic condition management, and patient education, helping patients take an active role in their health and well-being.
Claudia earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Chicago State University and her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN-FNP) from Governors State University. In addition, she holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and physics, further strengthening her scientific and clinical foundation.
She is multilingual and fluent in English, Romanian, Spanish, Italian, and French, allowing her to provide culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population.
Outside of her clinical practice, Claudia enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.
